Whole Quail
That's it. The entire bird.
Why Feed Ground Whole Prey?
Whole prey offers your carnivore food the way nature designed it—nothing removed, nothing added.
Feeding the entire animal provides natural variety in nutrients, textures, and animal tissues that aren't found in meat alone. Ground Whole Prey Quail delivers that same nose-to-tail—or in this case, beak-to-feathers—variety in an easy-to-feed grind.
It's whole prey made a little more convenient.
What About the Feathers?
Yep, they're supposed to be there!
Feathers are a natural part of eating whole prey and provide indigestible animal fiber, adding another element that's typically missing from conventional raw meals. Because this quail is truly whole prey, we leave them right where nature put them.
You may see visible feather pieces throughout the grind—that's completely normal.
Feeding Guidance
Ground Whole Prey Quail can be fed as part of a varied raw diet and provides the many different parts of the prey animal together in one convenient grind.
Because the entire quail is included, you'll find more than the meat, bone, and secreting organs found in a typical whole-animal grind. The feathers, digestive tract, skin, connective tissues, and other parts of the bird remain just as they would in whole prey.
Introduce gradually if your carnivore is new to whole prey or feathered foods.
