We created Chicken Base Grind – Coarse to temporarily fill the gap while our Whole Ground Chicken is unavailable. We know many of you rely on chicken as part of your rotation, and we wanted to make sure you still had a bone-in chicken option available.

This is not our traditional whole carcass grind — it’s built differently.

Ingredients

• Chicken backs
• Boneless skinless chicken thighs
• Boneless skinless chicken breast
• Chicken hearts
• Chicken gizzards
• Chicken liver

Ground coarse for dogs who prefer texture and visible grind structure.

What Is Chicken Base Grind?

Chicken Base Grind is a bone-in grind built from selected chicken components rather than whole carcasses.

It includes:

• Bone from chicken backs
• Muscle meat from thighs & breast
• Heart (a nutrient-dense muscle meat)
• Gizzards (we classify these as meat)
• Liver as the secreting organ

It is designed to serve as a foundational protein in a raw rotation.

How This Differs from Our Whole Ground Chicken

Our Whole Ground Chicken is made from whole chickens — meaning the entire carcass is ground together.

Chicken Base Grind is made from specific cuts and components. Because it includes added boneless meat rather than whole carcasses, the structure and cost are different.

✔ Still suitable for rotation

But not identical to our whole ground chicken.

Why Is the Price Different?

This product uses additional boneless breast and thigh meat rather than whole carcasses. Those cuts carry a higher raw material cost than carcass-based grinding, which is reflected in the final price.

We created this option so you can continue feeding chicken while whole chicken is unavailable.

We do not sell any products that contain denaturants, added colors, preservatives, artificial ingredients & no HPP. There are no grains, fruits or vegetables added to any of our products. It Is part of our commitment to quality. We believe in feeding a nutrient-rich meat, bone & organ diet–a carnivore diet as Mother Nature intended!
