Looking for a long-lasting chew for your carnivore? Canoe Cut Beef Bones are an excellent recreational bone that gives dogs the opportunity to satisfy their natural chewing instincts while enjoying nutrient-rich bone marrow.

Each bone is split lengthwise ("canoe cut"), making the delicious marrow easy to access without requiring your dog to work through a solid bone. These bones are cut from the beef femur and humerus, creating durable recreational bones that many medium and large dogs enjoy.

Because these are natural products, each 2 lb package typically contains 3–4 pieces of split bones, with individual bone lengths ranging from approximately 3–8 inches.

Product Highlights

  • Approximately 2 lb per package
  • Typically contains 3–4 split beef bones
  • Split lengthwise for easy access to marrow
  • Bones range from approximately 3–8 inches long
  • Sourced from beef femurs and humeri
  • Single-ingredient treat
  • No preservatives, additives, or artificial ingredients

What Are Recreational Bones?

Unlike edible bones that are meant to be fully consumed, recreational bones are designed primarily for chewing and enrichment.

Your carnivore will spend time licking out the marrow, chewing on connective tissue, and gnawing on the outside of the bone. While some small pieces may break away during chewing, the dense bone itself is not intended to be completely eaten.

Recreational bones provide:

  • Mental enrichment
  • A healthy outlet for natural chewing behaviors
  • Marrow as a flavorful reward
  • Additional jaw exercise
  • Time-consuming enrichment for many dogs

Feeding Recommendations

  • Feed thawed or partially frozen.
  • Always supervise your pet while they are enjoying any recreational bone.
  • Choose a bone appropriately sized for your carnivore to help reduce the risk of swallowing large pieces.
  • Remove the bone if it becomes small enough to swallow whole or if it develops sharp edges from aggressive chewing.
  • Refrigerate between chewing sessions and discard after several days.

Is This the Right Bone for My Carnivore?

Canoe Cut Beef Bones are generally best suited for:

✔ Medium and large dogs

✔ Experienced chewers

✔ Dogs that enjoy marrow and extended chewing sessions

These bones are not typically recommended for puppies, very small dogs, or aggressive power chewers that are prone to attempting to consume dense weight-bearing bones.
