Coarse Ground Whole Sheep (a/k/a "mutton" or "lamb") is a 2lb container of bone-in raw grind made with the whole animal.  Our exclusive whole-grind process uses the complete harvest (meat, bone, and all secreting organs) from a network of local sheep farms. This convenient grind offers a species-appropriate nutrients carnivores are designed to eat. Excellent for feeding as a meal with rotation of other proteins.

Sheep meat, sheep bones, sheep heart, sheep liver, sheep tripe.

• The average prey animal has about 10% to 15% bone, about 10% organs & the rest muscle, fat & connective tissue.  That is Mother Nature's model & therefore our model ratio for all of our Whole Ground products.

Sheep provides highly digestible animal protein along with naturally occurring amino acids, fats, and minerals that support muscle development and overall health. Rotating different proteins helps broaden the nutrient profile of your carnivore’s diet over time. Sheep is a higher fat option offering essential fat soluble vitamins & it highly palatable to most pets.

Feeding Guidance

Since this is a grind that contains meat, bone, and organs, it is a convenient meal option for raw fed carnivores. Best when fed in rotation with other proteins.

Wanna step it up a notch? Try adding toppers like additional organs, raw milk, tripe, or raw fish. Adding other foods over time to support nutritional variety.

Always supervise pets while eating and feed size-appropriate portions. 

Storage & Handling

Keep frozen until ready to use. Thaw in the refrigerator before feeding. Stays good in the refrigerator for 3-5 days after thawing. Can be warmed slightly with warm water before feeding. Do not cook.

Refreezing may affect texture but will not impact safety if handled properly.
