Suggested Uses
This product is a great whole-prey offering that balances out fattier meals such as lamb or mutton. As such, your dog may not be as "excited" about this one as they are of others as fat is generally where the "flavor" comes from. This product is not necessarily recommended for puppies since the fat is so very low, but if you do feed this to your growing dog, mixing in the fattier proteins will help keep their needed fat & caloric intake requirements in balance. If your dog is struggling with being a tad overweight, adding this lean protein can help shed those pounds.

5 LB. Coarse Ground Whole Young Beef

This is our Ground Young Beef in our larger family size. We package this product in a 5lb deli container! We use the whole calf to make this low-fat crowd-pleaser. It includes the meat, bone & organs. Each of the calves are coarse ground & fresh frozen.

Our Young Beef products are very lean--only about 1% fat.

These Michigan cows are 1 - 7 days old, healthy males from dairy stock. The calves are milk-fed. This is a very young meat source making for softer, more digestible bones. Unlike the beef from adult cows with which we are familiar, this product is very, very lean. (It's about 1% fat!)
