For our Ground Lake Herring-2 LB. we start with human-grade fish, caught for their roe. This coarse grind includes the head, flesh, skin & bones (no guts, they have been eviscerated). These are not scraps or throwaways! It is packaged in a convenient 2 LB. deli container. This quality fish contains almost no fat. It is all natural with no preservatives or additives. Enjoy this fantastic near-whole prey offering!

This Lake Herring is wild caught in Lake Superior by tribal fishermen. It is a product of Wisconsin. Lake Herring is a freshwater whitefish.
